As a professor, I developed and taught a number of security courses - information security. A realized that a lot of security concepts are related to the following (listing just a few).

• information security
• military operations
• competitive sports
• strategic management in business

In particular, the decision theory as part of (or an extension) of game theory applies in many situations. And this comes down to information theory, probability and statistics, etc.

So I decided that some of these security notes would fit into the content of this web site.
